I woke up with a groan. sunlight hitting on my face it's 8 in the morning yes ik this is too early for me I got up did my morning routine and went downstairs

"Ohoho aaj suraj bohot jaldi aagaya lagta" mom said in an sarcastic tone

"Jaldi utho toh problem nahi utho toh problem" i said sitting on the dining table

"Good morning tara" bhai said happily

"Morning bhai" i said and smiled back

I was passing by my parents room and heard them saying

"Ankita why are you not understanding she'll go in safe hands" dad said

"Dev she's just 23 years old and just completed her studies and you want her to get married" mom said in a sad tone

"Ik she's too young but no one is telling her to get married right away just get engaged" dad said

"She'll never agree on this dev" mom said and opened the door

"Ta..tara" mom shuttered while calling me out

"What were you talking about mumma" i asked while my eyes were filled with water

"Tara that's not what you're thinking" dad said calmly

"You're planning of me getting engaged" i said trying not to cry

"Who's getting engaged?" Bhai said in loud voice

"Tara" dad said it back matching bhai's voice

"Dad she's just 23 years old and you're planning her engagement?"

"Rudra they're our company friends she'll be in good hands and we ain't forcing her she can take her time but just meet Rajvansh's family once" dad said while sitting on sofa

"Dad the decision will be only of tara she can take how much of time she wants nobody will force her" bhai said it loud and clear

I was sitting in lawn thinking about the rajvansh's and bhai called me out and i came back into the senses

"Tara" bhai said calmly sitting next to me

"Ha bhai" i said controlling my tears

"Tara meet them once and decision is yours tara" bhai said smiling a little

"Yes bhai I'll meet them" i said resting my head on his shoulder

(On call)

(R- Reyash M-Mom)

M- Are you busy beta?

R- No mom say (I'm never busy for my family)

M- Reyansh are you busy tomorrow? Or have some meetings or important things to do?

R- No mom

M- Okay so you're free tomorrow and you'll not go to office tomorrow

R- Why? What are you upto

M- Come home early and we'll talk about it and don't forget to eat your lunch

"You're back reyansh" mom said smiling at me

"Yes what were you talking about" I said while sitting next to her

"Reyansh we have saw a girl for you" mom said looking at me

"Mom wait I've told you this I don't wanna get married anytime soon" I said in annoyance

"Buddha ho raha he tu 28 saal ka hogaya he ladki nahi milegi tujhe" she said it loud shouting on me

"Mom mom calm down wait what did you just call me buddha?" I said questioning her

"Yes a buddha! Beta reyansh meet her once she's very nice girl beta" she said making me agree to her

"But mom" i said getting annoyed

"Reyansh no but's the decision will be yours nobody is forcing you just get engaged na beta you'll fell in love easily there's no need to get married anytime soon but just get engaged" she said calmly looking at me

"Ugh okay mom I'm ready to meet her" i said getting up and seeing her smiling at me

I was laying on my bed thinking about how mom is talking about that girl she must be something my mom liked her but I'm not an sunshine kinda guy nor I'll love somebody even if I marry her she's just gonna be my responsibility I can never love someone
